Bats, Dukes and briefly, a waterslide

We got back from a week up north a couple of days ago.  There was just enough sun to try out the kids’ Christmas waterslide, which we ran for a good hour and a half, making pretty much no noticeable dent on the level in the water tank.  Go figure.

Summer listening so far has been dominated by the new Bats’ Free all the Monsters vying for holiday stereo time with the party mix for Pascale’s 3rd birthday bash in May.  (Animal theme, feat. Will.i.am, Queen Latifah, the Cure and Benny Hill.)  It’s had a surprisingly long run.   We caught the Dukes at the Mangawhai Tavern on the weekend.  Stunning.

Now back in the office.  I wish it would stop raining.  Working on ideas for 2012 ... watch this space...
